K.R. Kenneth "Kenny" Randolph the husband of Zelma Mae (Jones) Mitchell. Zelma Mae (Jones) Mitchell daughter of J.W. Jones and Cora (Wadley) Jones.
Zelma Mae (Jones) Mitchell
NEWARK -- Zelma Mae Mitchell, 88, of Newark died Tuesday, March 18, in Jonesboro. Born in Cord, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, Billy Mitchell of California, Kenneth Mitchell of Van Buren, Jimmy Mitchell of Leachville and Marion Mitchell of Lynn; two daughters, Eulaia Brock of Tuckerman and Lois Mitchell; a brother, Troy Jones of Cord; a sister, Virginia Tharp of Tuckerman; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mitchell; and her parents, J.W. and Cora Wadley Jones.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cord Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery at Cord under the direction of Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
