Ruby Roberts, age 74, of Russellville died Sunday, February 18, 2018, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born August 25, 1943, in Dover to Leo Henry and Ella Aline Adney Casey.
She enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews and arranging flowers.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Doyle Richard Roberts.Survivors include brothers, Jimmy Casey of Dallas, Texas and Tommy Casey of Houston, Texas; sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty Casey of Russellville and Shirley and Willis Parks of Russellville; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.


Pallbearers were Don Williams, B J Gatlin, James Alvey, Michael Alvey, James Milligan and Kevin Hogan.

Doyle Richard Roberts, 66, a resident of Dover, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Dover. He was born November 19, 1942, on Crow Mountain to Harley Doyle and Ellen Mariah Bowden Roberts. He was a mechanic and the former owner of the Exxon service station across from the Old South, and the Gulf service station at Highway 7 and Interstate 40. Currently, he was an employee of Service Compression, he and his wife are owners of Bowden's Flowers in Atkins, he was a member of the Mars Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and he enjoyed crappie fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents & brother, Alvin Nelson Roberts. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Ruby Roberts of Dover; sisters and a brother-in-law, Martha and William "Red" Jones of Crow Mountain and Jo E Alvey of Crow Mountain; sister-in-law, Betty Casey of Russellville; brother-in-law, Jim Casey of Mesquite, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Willis and Shirley Parks of Russellville; 7 nephews; 5 nieces; 11 great-nephews; 7 great-nieces; and many relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers were James Alvey, Michael Alvey, Rusty Jones, Keith Oels, C H Puckett, and Kevin Hogan. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Service Compression.
