C Ray Raper, age 75, of Benton, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. He was born October 31, 1934 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Mr Raper was a Korean War Navy Veteran, a retired Glaizer and a member off the Painters and Allied Trades Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Ralph and Ruth Raper and a sister, Imogene Raper.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Raper; sons, Ricky Raper and wife Connie and Kent Raper all of Benton; daughter, Gina Cox and husband Derrell of Perryville; brother, Gerald Raper of Benton; grandchildren, Candice, Christopher and Katelyn Raper, Tara LaRue, Bradley and Lindsey Cox and three great-grandchildren, Makaila Kutchka, Zachary Meredith and Tyler LaRue.
