Geneva Morphis Roberts, age 92, of Russellville, died Friday, January 11, 2013, at Saint Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born May 15, 1920, in Pope County, to Asa and Bertha Bowden Morphis. Geneva was baptized in 1938 and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 74 years. She enjoyed teaching others about the Bible. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orvil Roberts; her daughter, James Ann Roberts; her brother Garland Morphis; and sister, Gladys Kelley. She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Ken Morphis and wife Sue of Russellville, Polly Hovis of Dardanelle, David Motley of New York, Janet Motley of Russellville, Danny Motley of Russellville, Dana Duvall and husband Leon of Pottsville, Gana Mize and husband Kevin of Pottsville, and Aaron Morphis and wife Christy of Pottsville.

The family will conduct a memorial service at 2 p m, Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Russellville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses officiated by Mr. Richard Nelson.Memorials may be made to Russellville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1207 East 16th Street, Russellville, Arkansas 72801.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Geneva's nurses, Jan Glasspoole, and Rita Emmons, and her Home Health Aide, Linda Bridges.
