Carolyn Chappell Jones, 77, of Pottsville, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at her home. She was born July 17, 1927, in North Little Rock, to Jesse and Atha Whisnant Chappell. She held many offices at different times in the Pottsville Chapter of Economic Homemakers and was a past president of Pope County Extension Homemakers Council. She was an elder of Mars Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Ministry.She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 56 years, Charles Jones.
Survivors include sons, Randy Jones and partner, Drexel Jordan, of Little Rock, and Bob Jones and wife, Carla, of Sheridan; grandson, Chris Jones and wife, Courtney, of Little Rock; great grand children, Noah and Samuel Jones of Little Rock; brother, M J Chappell and wife, Norma, of North Little Rock.
