Jane Jones Keenan, 95, of Pottsville, Arkansas, died Friday, February 29, 2008 at St Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas. The daughter of Alexander Marshall and Avice Idona Kendrick Jones, she was born May 16, 1912 in Pope County, Arkansas. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and was a Registered Nurse. She Married George Wendell Keenan September 14, 1940 in Tucumcari, New Mexico and they lived in Clovis, New Mexico until moving to Pottsville in 1971. Jane was a member of the Mars Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George Wendell Keenan; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include son, George Keenan & wife Glenda of Oxford, Mississippi; daughter, Peggye Cluck & husband John of Amarillo, Texas; grand children, Amye Brewer of Short Hills, New Jersey, Hannah Cluck of Republic of the Congo, Karl Keenan Cluck of Shanghai, China, Matt Keenan of Birmingham, Alabama, Johnathan Keenan of Charlotte, North Carolina, Annie Pons of Washington, D C; great grandchildren, Jane Katherine Brewer and Evan Michael Brewer of Short Hills,New Jersey, Ella Flowers Keenan and Frances Harper Keenan of Birmingham; brother, Billy Warren Jones of Pottsville; sister, Nell Norris of Pottsville; nephew & niece, William & Martha Jones; many other loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1905.
