September 1, 1904 - February, 1977
Hermitage - Mrs. Fay Irene Leslie, 72, of here, died Sunday in an El Dorado hospital. The funeral was held Monday at Frazer's Chapel of the Chimes with the Rev. James Anderson officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery here under the direction of Frazer's Funeral Home. Mrs. Leslie was born here Sept. 1, 1904, the daughter of Willian Allen and Minie Bertha Wooley Wheeler. She was a member of Hermitage's First Baptist Church and the widow of Arthur Guy Leslie, Sr., who died August 8, 1951. She is survived by two sons, John William Leslie of here and A. G. Leslie, Jr. of Warren; and two sisters, Mrs. Gussie Cline of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Aubrey Bratton of Camden. (Camden News - February 15, 1977)
