Kathleen A Austin, 65, of Russellville died Friday, November 30, 2012 at St Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born May 14, 1947, in West Plains, Missouri to Anthony and Goldie Rackers. She was a graduate of Russellville High School, worked at International Shoe Company of Russellville, and was a homemaker. She was a member of St John's Catholic Church, the Women's Altar Society, and the Catholic Women's Union. She spent many hours making rosaries for the missions and doing arts and crafts which she enjoyed dearly. Her most precious times were spent with her family. She was known to everyone as Mawmaw Kathy, her most joyful moments were spent hanging with her grand kids and their friends at school functions, sporting events and church functions. She was loved dearly by everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Goldie Rackers; & husband, Charles L Austin, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Christy Austin, Charles Austin, Jr and wife Cynthia, and Stephen Austin and wife Angela; siblings, Anthony Rackers and wife Barbara, Bill Rackers and wife Katie, Phyllis Boswell and husband Mike, and Mike Rackers and wife Elaine; 8 grandchildren, Keaton, Katie, Decatur, Trenton, Hagan, Bresner, Carson and Lily; god-daughter Mary Johnson and husband Chad; 8 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers were Charles Austin, Jr, Stephen Austin, Keaton Austin, Brad Brewer, Travis Oertling and Billy Eheman.
