Donald E Austin, 76, of Atkins, went to be with his Lord Thursday, January 8, 2015, at St Mary’s Regional Medical center. He was born June 13, 1938, in Baltimore, son of the late Stan and Loree Smith Austin. He was 1969 State Stock Car Racing Champion and member of several Auto Clubs, attended Atkins Christian Center, He loved antique cars and Harley Davidson motor- cycles and having breakfast with his friends at Atkins International Cafe. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Shavon Davis Howard. He is survived by daughter, Beverly and husband Allen Davis, son, Scott and wife D J Austin, grandchildren, Cheyenne Tullis, Anthony Austin, Corey Austin, great grand -children, Max Austin and Conner Austin and many wonderful friends & the mother of his children, Helen Austin.
Pallbearers were Martin Boen, Tim Younger, David Kersten, Greg Baker, Danny May, Mike Sober, Honorary Pallbearers were Roger Andrews and all his breakfast buddies at Jose’s Atkins Café.
