Edna F Harrison, 97, a resident of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.She was born November 22, 1916, at Dabney, in Van Buren County, to James Alvis and Emma Louella Davis Pack. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend. She loved gardening, quilting and taking her grandchildren fishing. She was a member of the Gaines Baptist Church at Wilmot, Arkansas, where she formerly lived. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Harrison; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Survivors include 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, William and Bobbye Harrison of Atlanta, Georgia, Johnny and Gabriele Harrison of Savoy, Texas and Paul Harrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 5 daughters and sons-in-law, Emma and Bill Goggans of Fort Worth, Texas, Julia and Ernest Pittman of McKinney, Texas, Louise and Bill McLeod of Crossett, Barbara and Dave Richardson of Newark, Texas and Paulette and Olen Caudle of Atkins; a sister, Audrey Strange of Jerusalem; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers were her sons and sons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers were her grand -children, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in her memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Post Office Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38148; the Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation, Post Office Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203; or to Arkansas Hospice, 2405 East Parkway, Suite 3, Russellville, Arkansas 72802.
