Lawton J.R. (Tony) Tinkle entered into rest April 7, 2015 at Stone County Medical Center at the age of 87 years. Tony was born on October 10, 1927 in Levisy Flat, Arkansas to the late Roscoe and Mabel (Dobbins) Tinkle. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church (The Dome) in Mountain View, as well as the DAV and VFW. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Mabel (Dobbins) Tinkle, and two brothers, John and Billie Tinkle.
Tony proudly served his country in the Army, Air Force, and National Guard. Interment will be at Levisy Flat Cemetery with military honors.
