Maxine M. Tinkle, 88, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away July 06, 2017 in Mountain View, Arkansas. She was born September 09, 1928 in Big Flat, Arkansas, to James Riley Corter and Lucy (Smithee) Corter.

Maxine was a homemaker, Sunday school teacher, owned her own beauty shop, and painted portraits in oils for the love of her life, Tony. On top of being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she loved her Lord and Savior from early childhood. Maxine was saved at an early age and attended Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church in Timbo, Arkansas. She dedicated her life to the Lord and to her family whom she loved above all else.

Maxine is survived by one son, Michael L. Tinkle and wife Peggy (Thatcher) Tinkle; one daughter, Debbie J. (Tinkle) McLemore; two grandchildren, Michael L. Tinkle II, Jason H. Tinkle and wife DeeAnn Tinkle; three great grandchildren, Seirra Tinkle, Anna Kelly Tinkle, and Keegan Tinkle; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Lawton J. Tinkle; parents, James Riley Corter and Lucy (Smithee) Corter; brothers, Claudis, Robert, Roy, and Junior Corter; and sisters, Mae, Gertha, Euda, and Edith.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 10, 2017 at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church in Timbo, Arkansas from 6PM-8PM.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 10AM at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church in Timbo, Arkansas with Brother David Campbell and Brother Jerry Hopper officiating.

Interment will be at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
