September 17, 1885 - May 10, 1965
Mrs. Lillie Lee Connell, 79, died at her home, 823 W. Wesson St., Monday at 9:30 a.m. after a protracted illness. A resident of El Dorado for the last 57 years, Mrs. Connell was born in Burk County, Ga., Sept. 17, 1886, the daughter of Albert and Emilie Fulcher Powell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Walter V. Connell Jr of El Dorado and Thomas Louis Connell of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Willie Netherland of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a grandchild. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's.
