Arvilla Cotten
CORD - Arvilla Cotten, 76, of Cord died Feb. 1, 2006, in a Batesville hospital.
Born Jan. 31, 1930, in Sherman, Ky., she was the daughter of Frank and Dorothy Horton Morgan. She was united in marriage to Clyde Cotten. She was a homemaker and a member of Cord Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Sue Timbs of Cord; a brother, Donald Morgan of Dexter, Mo.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Lee Walter Morgan; and three sisters, Edna Davis, Arlene Paarman and Helen Brancecum.
Visitation was held Feb. 3 at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. A graveside service followed at Hopewell Cemetery in Cord.
