Zula Hice, 98, of Atkins died Monday, April 25, 2011, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
She was born October 8, 1912, in Oak Grove community, the daughter of Thomas V and Martha Jane Burris Johnson. She was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist and Women Active for Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newt Hice; and a brother, Floyd Johnson.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Jean Hice and Martha and Freddy Bowden, all of Atkins; a sister-in-law, Ollie McGuire of Russellville; two grandchildren, Thomas Bowden of Little Rock and Michele Bowden of Atkins; and three great-grandchildren, Cameron Bowden, Lauren Bowden and Hayden Bowden.
