June 15, 1830 - September 20, 1901

It is rumored that he was killed by Southern sympathizers. But that hasn't been proven yet.

Jackson served in the Civil War in Company C, 1st Arkansas Infantry. He at one time had moved up to be a second lieutenant, but after he was injured, was demoted to a private.
