Obituary
Cody Wayne Stewart of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas
Cody Wayne Stewart, son of Allen Stewart and Pam Bailey Stewart, was born November 17, 1987 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life December 16, 2016 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 29 years and 29 days. He was united in marriage to Sharron Spaun. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle, husband and friend. At the time of his death he worked as a logger. He also worked on oil riggs. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sage, Arkansas. He loved to hunt and fish. He was happiest when he was helping others. He lived each day like there was no tomorrow.
He is survived by his parents: Allen Stewart of Timbo and Pam Bailey Stewart of Mount Pleasant; one brother: Rex Allen Bailey of Paragould; one sister: Kristina Curtis (Ethan) of Mount Pleasant; uncles: Rick Bailey of Mount Pleasant and Jim Bailey of Ekalaka, Montana; paternal grandparents: Leroy and Pat Stewart of Mountain View, Arkansas five nieces and nephews: Elijah Curtis, Breanne Curtis, Destiny Bailey, Brantley Bailey, Ashliegh Corne and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: James and Jennie Bailey; maternal great grandparents: Nobie and Carl Bailey; great uncle: Paul Bailey.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21 beginning at 12 noon Burial will be at Barren Fork Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers: Jr. Banks, Delbert Johnson, Jeff Drew, Ernest White, David Herrington and Hunter Nugen.
Honorary Pallbearers: Ethan Curtis, Allen Bailey, Kristina Curtis and Steve Dew.
