Johnny Lawrence Vick, 82, of Atkins, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. The son of Ted and Angie Ross Vick, he was born April 10, 1934 in Pottsville. He was the owner and operator of Vick's Welding. He was a member of the Pine Ridge Free Will Baptist Church. Johnny enjoyed playing his guitar and shared his loved for gospel and country music at his church and area nursing homes. He also loved fishing, camping and horseback riding. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; Barbara Ella Vick; sisters, Mary Lou Drake and Othella Vick; brother, Albert Vick.He is survived by his wife, Marcella Downing Vick, Atkins; children, Connie Caldwell Ralph), Russellville, Johnny Vick (Patty), Pottsville, Steve Vick (Lori),Potts -ville, Karen Bryant(Larry), Pottsville; step-daughters, Sheila McCall of Jonesboro, Pamela Sorg of Pocahontas and Karen Carr of Olive Branch, Mississippi; brother, Don Vick (Micky), Atkins, Ted Vick (Beverly), Russellville; sister, Stella Farris, Russellville; 10 grand -children; 12 great grandchildren.
