Obituary
Gerean A. Wallace, age 89, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away on April 6, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Heber Springs. Born on September 21, 1928 in Timbo, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Ollie Sutterfield Crymes.
Gerean was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was involved in her church and community activities such as the Order of the Eastern Star, the Garden Club, Parent Teachers Association and was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Heber Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Joel Phillip Wallace and her brother Dwight Desha Crymes.
She is survived by her husband J.D. Wallace of Heber Springs, Arkansas, her son Dwight Wallace and his wife Cindy of North Little Rock, Arkansas, her grandson Luke Wallace of Nashville, Tennessee, her brothers Paul J. Crymes and Danny Ray Crymes of Mt. View, Arkansas and her sister Freda Reece of Marianna, Ark. Mrs. Wallace is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at 12:00pm on Monday at First Baptist Church in Heber Springs with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Rev. Marty Sikes officiating. Interment will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery in Mt. View, Arkansas.
