MALDEN, Mo. - Myrtle Merie Brewington, 85, of Campbell, Mo., died Monday, July 8, 2002, at a nursing home in Campbell.
Born Feb. 12, 1917, at Senath, Mo., she was the daughter of Issac P. Winston and Minnie Lue Seward Winston.
She married Earl T. Brewington in Newport on Jan. 27, 1943.
She was formerly a resident of Malden, Mo., and Gideon, Mo., and was a member of the Malden Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Brewington of Dallas, Ga., and Joe Brewington of Gideon; a daughter, Wanda Goliher of Roswell, Ga.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Woodrow Winston and Edgar Winston; and three sisters, Cora Coe, Elsie Creameans and Ethel Douglas.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Hopewell Cemetery at Cord with William Coe officiating. Arrangements are by Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden.
