Mary Dean “Deanie” Mason, 93, of Springdale, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born November 3, 1918 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Waymon Francis and Mary Pearl Stephens Dearing.

Deanie graduated from Northeastern University in Tahlequah. She was a teacher for a short time. She worked for First State Bank Springdale for 29 ½ years as a teller. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Mason, Sr.; two sons, Earl Mason, Jr. and David Mason.

She is survived by one daughter, Marylin Lee of Springdale; two sisters, Betty Yancey of Prairie Grove and Frances Patten of Farmington; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 1351 E. Lowell Ave., Cave Springs with Rev. Perry Grimsley officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5pm at the Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

Pallbearers are Bill Mason, Russ Rivard, Austin Rivard, Rance Gayer, Bill Yancey, Benny Dale Dearing.

Memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, P.O. Box 6, Cave Springs, Arkansas 72718.
