Mrs. Wood was a member of the Literacy Council and First Baptist Church of Forrest City.
Survivors include her husband: Wayne "Buck" Wood of Jonesboro; one son: Chris Wood of Jonesboro; one daughter: Sharon Gregory of Edmond, OK.; one brother: Dan Scott of Alpharetta, Ga.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Levi and Winnie (Kendall) Scott; two sons: Tommy Wood and Jackie Wood; one sister; two brothers; one grandson.
