MAHAN, Chas. - (from West Fork) Chas. Mahan, who joined the army three years ago, re-enlisted and was stationed at San Francisco, died Saturday and his remains are expected Tuesday at Prairie Grove for burial. The deceased has a brother, W.W. Mahan, at Winslow and a sister, Mrs. Luella Schofner, at Prairie Grove, and a sister, Mrs. W.D. Sample of this place.
*This stone was placed in 1932. Previous to that year, the grave was 'unmarked' according to the military headstone application.
