Mason Van Childress, 70 of Springfield, formerly of Morrilton, died Friday, April 5, 2013. He was born February 5, 1943 in Hattieville, Arkansas to Charles Washington Childress & Wilma Gladys Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Childress, grand-son, Arron Childress; 1 brother, Charles Childress; 4 sisters, Anna Jane Childress, Athlene Crites, Inez Pearson & Jean Wager. He is survived by two daughters & one son, Vanessa Guevara, Susan Childress, Michael Childress; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers & sisters, Tom Childress, Mutt Childress, Bobbi Sampley, Joe Childress & Jerry Childress.
