SILOAM SPRINGS— James Albert Herrington, 63, of Siloam Springs died Oct. 19, 2002, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1939, in Madison County to Frank and Irene Gabbard Herrington. He was a communication-cable technician for Brand-Rex for 16 years.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Edwards Herrington, to whom he was married June 6, 1964; three sons, James N. Herrington and John Herrington, both of Siloam Springs, and Christopher Herrington of the home; two daughters, Christina Herrington and Cindy Herrington, both of the home; three brothers, Bob L. Herrington of Elm Springs, Kenneth Herrington of Cassville, Mo., and Alvin Herrrington of Pea Ridge; one sister, Virginia Threet of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Obituary for Bessie Marie Herrington
Bessie Marie Herrington, 74 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died October 3, 2018, in her home. Born April 17, 1944, in Rogers, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Edwards and Minnie E. Neighbarger Edwards. Bessie married James Herrington and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Joy Coleman, brothers Junior, John and J.R; husband; and son James Neal.
Survivors include her children Christina Herrington of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, John Herrington and his wife Susan of Gentry, Arkansas, Christopher Herrington of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Cindy Herrington of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Megan Herrington of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren Jonathan, Anthony, Michelle, Tasha, Lance, Lorinda, Ashton, Laci, Hunter and Anna Marie; 9 great grandchildren; sister Sally Fox of Nixa, Missouri; brothers Bob Edwards of Kansas, Oklahoma and Bill Edwards of Bentonville, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2018, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
