Jewel Edward Grifford, 81, of Prescott, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Prescott, Arkansas. He was born in Laneburg, Arkansas on March 19, 1936.
He was a retired home builder and a farmer. He was of Assembly of God faith, an Elder and had worked in various places throughout the ministry.
Survivors include his loving wife, Theresa Lucas Grifford, of 64 years; one daughter, of Texarkana, Texas Denise Eldredge and husband Ron; two grandchildren, Jon and Ashton Anderson; four great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ed Grifford and Maybelle Honea Grifford; one son Barry Jewel Grifford; his brothers Earl, Frank, Granville, and Wallace Grifford; his sisters Artie Mae Stewart, Louise Laboski, Nova Loe, and Ida Lee Ellis.
Interment will be Tuesday 2:00pm at Piney Grove Cemetery Prescott, Arkansas with Bro. Jerry Hightower officiating.
