Obituary
Clarence Leo Miller, 77, of the Lone Rock community died Sunday at his residence. A World War I veteran and a member of the Lone Rock Baptist Church, he moved to Baxter County five years ago from Sacramento, CA.
Mr. Miller was born at Osceola, IA, April 5, 1897, the son of Adam and Florence Garner Miller. He was married to Ethel Sharp Lindsey at Sacramento, Oct 12, 1968.
Survivors include his wife, of Lone Rock Rt of Norfork; five step sons, Felix Lindsey and Eldon Lindsey of Norfork, George Lindsey and Ward Lindsey of Mt. Home, and Ellis Lindsey of Columbus, MO; two step daughters, Mrs. Thelma Gimbert and Mrs. Ann Caststeel of Miami, OK and Mrs. Euna Beavers of Sacramento; 27 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services were conducted Wednesday at the Lone Rock Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Troy Melton, officiating. Interment was in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery, under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Chester Smith, Everett Wilbur, Oscar Chapman, George Lindsey, Lotus Foster and Greg Lindsey.
