Ronald Neil Burnett, 68, of Alma, AR passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 in his home.
He was a retired sales manager for J.C. Potter for 35+ years, a member of Dyer Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was born May 6, 1945 in Malvern, AR to the late Carl and Ida Mae (Schweitzer) Burnett. Also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Cox and one brother Al Burnett.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Dyer Baptist Church with interment in Dyer Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Deana Burnett of the home; two daughters, Melissa Morse and husband Samuel of Oklahoma City, OK and Sherry Spiesshoefer of Fort Smith; three sisters, Mary Jo McIver of Dyer, Betty Beauchamp and Judy Kelley both of Fort Smith; three brothers, Carl Burnett, Jr. of PA, Hank Burnett of Mulberry and Guy Burnett of Malvern; two grandchildren, Taylor Baker of Ft. Smith and Nick Baker of Greenbrier.
Pallbearers will be Jon Cox, Phillip Beauchamp, Jeff Beauchamp, Jim Christian, Bill Liggett and Samuel Morse. Honorary pallbearers will be the Dyer Baptist Senior Sunday School Class.
