John Robert Harmon Sr., 65, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away January 1, 2016.
He was born March 16, 1950 in Osceola, Arkansas.
He was an Army Veteran with Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart and a member of the Holiness Block Church in Van Buren.
He is survived by one son, John Robert Harmon Jr. of Fort Smith, one daughter, Tracy Meyer of Pine Bluff, one brother, Carl Harmon of West Palm Beach, Florida, four sisters, Susan Lewis of Fort Smith, Nancy Kuhn of Roland, OK, Patsy Moore of Fort Smith and Jean Demastus of Alma, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A family held Graveside Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Dyer Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith

Sherry Ann Harmon, 64, of Alma died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, in a local hospital. She was an English teacher in Mena, a homemaker a Protestant.
Funeral was at Ocker Chapel of Alma with burial at Dyer City Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Dawn Hogue of Texas and Tracy Key of Van Buren; a son, John Harmon Jr. of Dyer; her father, Leon Sherrer of Durant, Okla.; one brother, Danny Sherrer of Durant; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Luke Lamance, Josh Whitney, Dillon and David Key, Sean Meadors and Theral Langston.
