Obituary
Vaughn B. Marshell, 88, of Redondo Beach, Calif., died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, in Redondo Beach.
Born March 4, 1912, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Robert Owen and Minnie Etta Humphries Blue. She was formerly of Batesville, where she graduated high school, then of Little Rock until recently. She was a retired bookkeeper for C.H. Briley. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, Joan Frauenthal Anderson of Redondo Beach, Janice Nelson Dickson of Pine Bluff, Robert Frauenthal of Korea, Charles Frauenthal of Phoenix, Michael Frauenthal of San Clemente, Calif., Richard Frauenthal of Tallahassee, Fla.; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Owen Blue, Ewing Blue and James Corbit Blue; and three sisters, Biffle Smith, Ruby Nelson and Marie Frauenthal.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with the Rev. Joe Linam officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
