Obituary
Wanda “Sis” Taylor Butler was born Sunday, September 30, 1928, at Salado, Arkansas to William Jackson Taylor and Mary Elsie Carter Taylor Hester.

She died Saturday, November 1, 2014, in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 86 years, 1 month, and 2 days.

Wanda was a 1946 graduate of Batesville High School; she worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was a member of the West Baptist Church. She enjoyed Bowling, reading, crossword puzzles, and watching Razorback basketball on TV.

She is survived by a Son, Virgil Butler III of Batesville; 2 Daughters, Donna Turner and her husband Mark of Cave City; Kim Dunlap and her husband Tim of Batesville; a Brother, Don Taylor and his wife Freda of Carlyle, Illinois; 5 Grandchildren, Jonathan Ives, Megan Ives, Betsy Ives, Zane Turner and Claire Turner; a sister-in-law, Neva Butler Ball; nieces, Rossann Steele, Nanette Garner, Amber Shirey, Donnell Wessell and a nephew Tracy Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil Butler Jr., and a sister, Delois Nicholas.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 4, at 10:00 a.m., at Oaklawn Cemetery, with Rev. John Drymon officiating.

Pallbearers will be Zane Turner, Jonathan Ives, Tad Dunlap, Tommy Garner, David Steele and Jim Rogers.
