He is survived by his wife, Roberta Stephens of the home; son, Kenny Stephens of Imboden; daughters, Teresa and Danny Rowsey of Black Rock, Diane and Lanny Wells, Gina and Larry Blansett, and Melanie Stephens, all of Imboden; and one sister, Norma Jean Smith of Columbia, Ill.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Victor Stephens of Colorado; Terry, Becky Stephens, Renee, Cerda and Hunter Stephens of Springdale; Billy, Starla, Daniel Rowsey, Jessie and Rodney James of Black Rock; Hannah Rowsey of Arkadelphia; Danette, Patrick, Kyle, Tyler and Jessica Murphy of Williford; Tamya, George, Aliceson and Jonathan Stallings of Newport; Khara and Jeff Sorenson, Caleb Madison, Zackary and Chase Wilson and Riley Sorenson of Fort Worth, Texas; Kristina and Tristan Young of Rose Bud; Demi and Josh Stephens and Eric Wells of Imboden; Tessa Jose Brunson of Horn Lake, Miss.; Andrea, Frankie, Kyleigh, Addisen and Bryce Echeveria of Ravenden; and Gary, Suzie, Brayden, Jayce, Avery and Mason Blansett of Harrah, Okla.

Kenneth was a self-employed mechanic, body shop owner, grocery store owner, gas station clerk and used car dealer, as well as a cable TV owner. He was in the Air Force and the Lawrence County Regional Water District Board of Directors for 28 years. He also received the Sloan-Hendrix Appreciation Plaque.

His service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God in Imboden with Michael Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the grandsons and great-grandsons.

Kenneth couldn’t stand the thought of a family going hungry or a child waking up Christmas morning and not having gifts under the tree. He always tried to provide for everyone. So memorials are requested to Sloan-Hendrix Community Baskets or to the Angel Tree fund. Donations can be dropped off at Diann’s Beauty Shop and Sloan-Hendrix School Elementary office.

Any other memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God in Imboden.
