George H. Stallings, 71 of Imboden, passed away Saturday May 31, 2014 in the St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born June 12, 1942 in Marked Tree; son of the late Joe and Hazel Holland Stallings.

He was a Veteran in the US Army serving in Korea during the Vietnam War; a Backhoe operator and a farmer. He was united in marriage to Margaret Reinhardt on Jan 10, 1970. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the home; two sons, Robert Thomas (Kristie) Stallings of Imboden, Christopher George (Tamya) Stallings of Newport; a daughter, Crystal Marie (Jason) Manning of Batesville; eight grandchildren, Jakob, Haylie, Aliceson, Jonathan and Matthew Stallings, Mariah, Jessica and Anthony Manning; three brothers, Larry and Bob Stallings both of Black Rock, Tommy Stallings of Imboden; two sisters, Melba Sloan of Pocahontas and Marsha Moore of Jonesboro; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be Tuesday June 3, 2014 at 11:30 AM in the Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry, Tommy and Jake Stallings, Chris, Jim and Steve Jones, Billy Powell. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan and Matthew Stallings, Anthony Manning.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to be made to the Sloan Hendrix FFA Alumni Association.

No Visitation.

BLACK ROCK — George H. Stallings, 71, of Black Rock passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014.
