When Andrew Jackson Menees was born on March 7, 1849, in Fulton, Kentucky, his father, Isaac, was 48 and his mother, EMALINE Gore, was 35. He married Margaret Ann Hale on January 11, 1870, in his hometown. They had eight children in 17 years. He died on June 5, 1905, in Old Hickory, Arkansas, at the age of 56, and was buried in Hattieville, Arkansas.
