FAYETTEVILLE - Frankie Wayne Parsley, 82, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in Fayetteville. He was born April 26, 1932, in Patrick, Ark., the son of Cassius Clay and Arta Mills Parsley.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, retired from Campbell Soup in the maintenance department and was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson, three sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Virginia Parsley of the home; two sons, Tony Parsley of Fayetteville and Randy Parsley of Farmington; three brothers, Kenneth Parsley of Elkins, Dale Parsley and Carl Parsley both of Fayetteville; three grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville with burial in Stuckey Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday April 19, 2015, at the funeral home.
