CASSVILLE, Mo. — Durral Dewayne Tedford, 68, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at the Arkansas Veterans Home at Fayetteville. He was born July 17, 1946, in Lindsay, Okla., the son of Viola and John Tedford.

Dewayne proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the VFW Post 3031, and enjoyed fishing, games, dominoes and slot machines.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Barkley Tedford; his parents; two brothers, Glenn and Gene Tedford; one son, Michael Tedford Larinz; a stepson, Lance Barkley.

Dewayne is survived by two sisters, Brenda Ullmann and Fern Carter; two sisters-in-law, Anna Tedford and Jeanie Tedford; nine nieces and nephews; a son, Dewayne Tedford Jr., and a daughter, Patti Ann, both in Oklahoma; two stepdaughters, Lisa Roughton and Stella Barkley; five grandchildren, Kasha Snoxhill, Kyle Foster, Dana Barkley, Catherine Holloway and John Barkley; five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for both Dewayne and Elizabeth Tedford will be held on Oct. 16, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the Bland Cemetery, located north of Hwy. 71, on west side of Moberly Lane in Bentonville, Ark.
