Mrs. Lexie Lee Wood, 77, of 418 W. Maple St. in Rogers, died Sunday evening at Rogers Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 5, 1895 at Benton. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She was past Matron of the Martha Chapter of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Sam Wood of Garden Grove, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Bill Clinger of Rogers and Mrs. Thelma Barnett of Jay, Okla.; two brothers, Charles Lee of Mineral Wells, Texas and A.J. Lee of Little Rock; a sister, Mrs. William Hinkle of Houston; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Callison Chapel in Rogers with the Rev. Bill Connell officiating.
Private graveside service will follow at Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Callison Funeral Home.
The family said friends wishing to do so may contribute to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
