When William Walter Golden was born on September 19, 1891, his father, Walter, was 25 and his mother, Mary, was 20. He married Lela K or C Massingill on July 25, 1924. They had nine children during their marriage. He died on December 19, 1976, in Morrilton, Arkansas, at the age of 85, and was buried in Old Hickory, Arkansas.
