SPRINGDALE — Brenda Sue Kesner, 66, of Springdale passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born July ll, 1948, in Harrison, Ark., to Carl and Dorothy Clark Farmer.
Brenda graduated from Jasper High School and attended Fayetteville Business College. She worked for Judge Jim Evans Sr. as a legal assistant. She later worked for the Springdale Police Department for 22 years, retiring in 2004. In 1990, she was voted Employee of the Year for the department.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Kesner of the home; and her mother, Dorothy Farmer of Springdale.
Brenda and Larry couldn't have children but had four cats, K.C., Ebony, Sugar and Miss Kitty, all survive her.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery.
No visitation is planned.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.

SPRINGDALE — Larry Joe Kesner, 68, of Springdale passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks. He was born Nov. 2, 1946, in Berryville, Ark. to James Allen and Mayse Rogers Kesner.
Larry served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He enjoyed watching sports and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Kesner and one brother, Phillip Kesner.
Survivors include two brothers, Jim Kesner and wife Julie of Bella Vista and John Kesner and wife Janet of Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Elm Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
