*Obituary:
Mrs. Melba Hall 72, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 in Hope, Arkansas. Melba was born August 22, 1944 in Hope, Arkansas to Lee and Willie Mae Taylor Calhoun.
Mrs. Hall was a member Trinity Baptist Church and a member of the Arkansas Coaches Hall of Fame. She was a school teacher for a total of 34 years in Chidester, Prescott and Hope, her students and players were always considered by her as her children away from home. Mrs. Hall loved to listen to gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
She is survived by her husband, Don Hall of Hope, Arkansas; son, Mark Hall of Hope, Arkansas; daughter, Dusty Patterson (Joel) of Olive Branch, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Bethany Patterson, Kent Patterson, Heath Patterson, Madison Hall, Bailey Hall and Trace Hall.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 between the hours of 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home, 403 South Main, Hope, Arkansas.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home with Wallace Edgar officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hope, Arkansas.
