Verna R. Falk, 89, of Decatur, Arkansas, died June 4, 2017, at her home.
She was born October 3, 1927, in Kingsley, Iowa, she was the daughter of Tony Carter and Lola Stevens Carter. She married Lathan Walker and he preceded her in death. She then married Helmuth Falk and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member the Quilter's Guild and the Decatur United Methodist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death in addition to her husbands, one son and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sisters, Sharon Crowder of Salina, Kansas, and Shirley Zentz of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; and a brother, Lester Carter of Roxbury, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Arkansas. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2017 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
