SPRINGDALE — Otis Dale Nimmo, 63, of Springdale died Sept. 11, 1999, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born June 26, 1936, in Elkland,
Mo., to Otis Augusta and Mahala Ivarine Gallton Nimmo. He moved to the Springdale area in 1964 from Springfield, Mo. He founded Mozark Fire Extinguisher Co. in 1966. He helped start the Arkansas State Fire Protection Board and was its first chairman. He was a member of Revival Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Collins Nimmo, to whom he was married July 5, 1986; three sons, Steve Nimmo of Fayetteville, Mike Nimmo of Goshen and Mark Nimmo of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two stepsons, Randy Osborne and Brian Osborne of Springdale; one daughter, Deborah Hocott of Greenwood; one stepdaughter, Nita Osborne of Springdale; one brother, James Nimmo of Fayetteville; one sister, Linda McTeer of Van Buren; 12 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Revival Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Paul Eden officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at Sisco Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearer's will be Wesley Nimmo, Michael Nimmo, Alex Nimmo, Justin Nimmo, Bruce Osborne and Zack Hocott.

Katherine Dorothy Nimmo, 82, passed away February 26, 2018 in Springdale. She was born July 24, 1935 in to Huntsville, Arkansas to Dison and Amo Griffith Collins.
Katherine was a longtime waitress at the Venesian Inn in Tontitown. She attended Revival Tabernacle in Springdale.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale Nimmo, son Randy Osborne, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son Brian Osborne of Springdale; her daughter; Anita Osborne of Rogers; four grandchildren, Bruce Osborne, Amber Osborne, Heather Moeller all of Springdale, and Ziara Harney of Texas; five great grandchildren; three brothers, Riley, Bill, and Jim Collins all of Springdale; and one sister Mary Carver also of Springdale.
Funeral services will be held on March 1, 2018 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale starting at 10:00 a.m. with Dale Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Springs Cemetery.
A visitation will be on February 28 at the funeral home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
