Johnnie C. Kelley, 94, of Farmington, Ark., passed away May 26, 2015, at his home. He was born May 3, 1921, in Snyder, Ark., the son of Thomas Marion and Alma Luann Caskey Kelley.

He served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater. He retired from Nations Hardwood Co. of 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Lee, Cecil and Charles.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years and 9 days, Ruby Mae Smith Kelley; his children, Johnny Kelley and wife Mary Lou of Farmington, Jack Kelley of Stilwell, Okla., Joan Phillips and husband Gary of Prairie Grove, Ark., Jody Gomez and wife Joan of Tuttle, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Crickett Kelley and Lois Nell Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial was in Farmington Cemetery; there were no graveside services held at the cemetery.
