October 11, 1905 - April 2, 1977
Mrs. Lottie Mead, 71, of Jacinto City, Tex., formerly of Bearden, died Saturday in Houston, Tex. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bearden Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Moss Cemetery near Bearden. Mrs. Mead is survived by her husband, the Rev. W. M. Mead; one son, Russell Mead of Lamar, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Morrison of Crossett, Mrs. Hazel Stults and Mrs. June Fisher, both of Houston; one brother, Bo Jordan of Bearden; one sister, Mrs. Dewey Shoemaker of Marshall, Tex.; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
