SPRINGDALE - James Edward "Jim" Snow, 75, of Springdale, died after a lengthy and difficult battle with Parkinson's disease on December 7, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born Feb. 7, 1936, in Wayton, Ark., to Rueben Harley and Anna Rebecca Reynolds Snow.

Jim graduated with the loving and supportive class of 1956 at Springdale High School. He retired as a supervisor after 38 years from the Ball Corporation. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, old cars, and most of all, the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Snow and Denver Snow, and a sister, Geneva Haley.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Connie (Presley) Snow, whom he married June 2, 1958, in Wichita, Kan.; two children, Eric Snow and wife Valerie, of Pittsburg, Kan., Jami Biazo and husband, Jerry, of Springdale; two brothers, Wayne Snow and Vernon Snow, both of Springdale; a sister, Betty Thomas of Springdale; and three grandchildren, Zachary Snow, Alyssa Snow and Ryan Biazo.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at the First United Methodist Church in Springdale, with the Rev. Judy Van Hoose officiating. Interment will be at Bluff Cemetery. Arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home, online guest book at heritageofnwa.com.
