Colby Allen Rice age 31 of El Dorado, AR died Tuesday, December 26th, in Bradley County, AR. He is survived by his 2-precious sons Ryan Landen Rice, 13 of Hermitage, AR and Brantlee Taylor Rice, 4 of Warren, AR. He is also survived by his parents Robert Allen Rice and wife Melissa of El Dorado, AR. 6 brothers, Robert Allen Rice Jr, New Edinburg, AR, Dillan Rice, Monticello, AR, Tyler Crosswhite and Houston Crosswhite both of El Dorado, AR, Brent Crook, Monticello, AR and Tyrell Smith of Hermitage, AR. 3 sisters Kali Belvedresi, Warren, AR, Christy Rice, Warren, AR and Britany Crosswhite, Pine Bluff, AR. Paternal grandmother Helen Milburn, El Dorado, AR. Maternal parent and grandparents, Monica Patrick, Monticello, AR and Linda Crook Allen, Monticello, AR and Larry Crutchfield and spouse Marilyn, Monticello, AR, Great-grandmother Willene McBride, Monticello, AR. Uncles and aunts and Countless cousins, ball playing buddies, racing buddies, hunting buddies and many, many friends both near and far. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents R.C. and Tennie “Tency” Rice and Don Crook. Colby was an energetic lively person, who never met a stranger without a smile. His smile was infectious!! He was an outdoor person who loved working in the logging woods. Colby loved to mud ride and hunt and had a passion for driving his race car “2 R”! He had a love for life and his boys were his prize. Colby loved and stood up for his family and would always help or add support to someone in need. He truly had an effect on everyone he met. Colby was taken from us way too soon, but we are confident God has his hands on him so that he may rest easy. Funeral services were 3:30 PM Sunday, December 31st at Landmark Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Donaldson officiating. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Paul Sinclair, David Kelley, Seth Michael Lee, David Beach, Jim Bo Wrinkle, Jonathan Bates. Honorary pallbearers were Chris England, Scott Pope, Jason Johnston and Devin Moore.
