Edwin Wayne Huitt age 72, of Hermitage, AR died Monday, March 13th, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. He was born January 5th, 1945 in Eudora, AR a son of the late Marvin Edwin Huitt and Annie Mildred Chambers Huitt. He was a retired Arkansas Army National Guard serviceman, he enlisted August 18th, 1964 and was honorably discharged August 17th, 1998, serving as a technician for 34 years, he was a member of Antioch Church and loved to travel with his wife and through their travels they traveled all 50 states, Canada and Mexico, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by sisters Mary Ann Huitt Smith and Margarette Huitt. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lou Neal Huitt, a son Shannon Huitt and spouse Charlotte, and their children, Emily, Joe and Kaden, Norphlet, AR. A daughter Shawnda Outlaw, and her children Ashton and Will, Hermitage, AR. Brothers Larry Huitt and spouse Carolyn, Warren, AR, Paul Huitt and spouse Gwen, Hermitage, AR, Joe Huitt and spouse Sharon, Warren, AR. A sister Peggy Adams, Warren, AR. 5 grandchildren. His aunt Thelma Green and spouse Wilmot, Warren, AR. Extended family J. C. Parks (preceded) and spouse Marilyn Parks, El Dorado, AR, Don and Sandi Parks, Marshall, TX, Paul and Greg Parks Biba, Fletcher , N.C. also numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 15th at Frazer’s Chapel. Becky Gandy and Adam Hill provided the music. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Matt Huitt, Marty Adams, Wade Wolfe, Dennis Brumley, J.P. McVay, Dakota Dawson, Mario Vargas, and Chad McKinley. Honorary pallbearers were Tootsie Dees, Larry Broughton, Ronnie Lanier, Jackie Curry, Buzzy Sawyer, Curt Dees, Kenneth Trussell, Billy Namenek, Michael Sloan, Roger Shelby, Filberto Diaz, Gary Scott, Curt Barbee, and Bubba Curry. Memorials preferred to the Gravelridge Cemetery Association or the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
