David A. McVay, age 63, of Waxahachie, TX, died Wednesday July 22, in an automobile accident near Corsicana, TX. Born February 4, 1952 in Warren, AR, a son of the late C.A. McVay and Bobbie Jennings McVay he was a registered nurse and member of The Avenue Church. Survivors are 1 son Shane McVay, Ruston, LA. 2 daughters Jennifer McVay Garcia and Angela McVay both of Lillie, LA. 4 brothers Ronnie McVay, Smackover, AR, Wayne Urrey, Bernice, LA, Ed McVay, Ruston, LA, Sam McVay, Talco, TX. 8 grandchildren. Also preceding him in death were brothers Carl McVay, J.R. McVay and a sister Linda McVay. Funeral service was 2:00 p.m. Monday July 27, at Frazer’s Chapel with Brother Robert Thornton officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery near Hermitage, AR by Frazer’s. Active pallbearers were James Johnson, Chris McVay, K.D. Urrey, Richard McVay, Jake McVay, Heath Head and Darron Wheland.
