October 23, 1944 - May 3, 1969
Frank Belin, 24, 718 South College St., El Dorado, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 23, 1944, in Hermitage, the son of Joe and Johnie Smith Belin. Belin had lived in El Dorado for the past nine years, and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his parents, 718 South College St.; two brothers, James Belin and Fred Belin, both of El Dorado; a sister, Mrs. Jerry Drummond, El Dorado; three half-brothers, William Buster Belin, St. Louis, Mo., Clyde Belin, Scotsdale, Ari., and Jo Belin, Taft, Calif.; one half-sister, Gladys McMullen, Scotsdale. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Gravel Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. R. E. Patton officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel Ridge Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Dickson, Bill Smith, Larry Bibby, Gilbert Alford, C. H. Cox and Clarence Richey. (El Dorado Times - May 5, 1969)
