Kenneth L. Booker age 67 of Hermitage, AR died Wednesday, January 20th at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He was born November 15th, 1948 in Hermitage, AR, a son of Emily Sweeney Booker, Hermitage, AR and the late Aubert Booker. Ken was co owner and operator of B.I.C. LLC. Booker Industrial Construction Company with his wife and the love of his life which he loved to tell people, Jean Sweeney Booker whom he married February 7, 1981 and over these years of marriage they were nearly inseparable as husband, wife, best friends and business owners. Ken Booker was a perfectionist, a good hearted and honest man. He and Jean demonstrated a love for each other with support of his wife Jean in a very unique relationship which grew stronger over the 34 years of marriage they shared, doing the things they enjoyed like running their company, hunting and fishing together and sharing their love for each other. Ken Booker shared a relationship with Stan Sweeney that was more than family he always said Stan was a brother and confidant that he truly enjoyed. Surviving other than his wife Jean and his mother Emily, are their children, Barry Booker and spouse Kim, Hermitage, AR, Tammie McDougald and spouse Joey, Sumpter, AR. Clint Booker and spouse Amy, Texarkana, TX, Stan Sweeney and spouse Linda, Hilo, AR Jackie Dean Sweeney, Hampton, AR. and Kim Sweeney Thurman and spouse Bobby, Beaumont, TX. 10 grandchildren Brittany Carter, Austin Booker, Josh Grice, Haley McDougald, John McDougald, Shelby Green, James Carter, Alexandra Carter, Ranaan Booker and Nova Booker. 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral service was 1:30 pm Saturday, January 23rd at the Antioch Baptist Church near Hermitage, AR with Rev. Keith Nutt officiating. Musicians were Suzije Matheny and Becky Gandy. Burial was in Gravel Ridge Cemetery by Frazer Funeral Home. Active Pallbearers were Jack Dasch, Ryan Dossey, Rick Newton, Reggie Hargis, Clay Wagnon, Kenny Thompson, John Simpson and Brent Erwin. Honorary Pallbearers were Bruce Marter, David Dees, Hugh Allen Quimby, Joffre Long, Tony Hunt and Lindwood Dees.
